Biography
Slayer (James Airey) is a dancer from Chesterfield training in ballet and contemporary dance at Rambert School in London. Inspired by Michael Jackson videos, Slayer developed a distinctive popping style and became a fixture in the UK battle scene.
Winner of the 2026 Red Bull Dance Your Style UK final, Slayer previously represented the UK at Juste Debout Paris's Junior Dance Tour and won an open world modern jive title at 15. A member of GoGhetter Poppers, Slayer has performed with the National Youth Dance Company in Boy Blue's Gravity and also dances salsa and Ceroc.
