Biography

Brooke Milliner is a distinguished dancer and choreographer, celebrated for his exceptional versatility and profound impact on the international street dance scene. A multiple international battle champion, Brooke has been a leading figure in the Popping community for over 15 years, renowned for his exceptional musicality, intricate choreography, and technical prowess. 

Brooke's formal training at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Bird College of Dance equipped him with proficiency in various dance styles, including tap, hip-hop, and contemporary, both in freestyle and choreography. His background as an international-level trampolinist further enhances his performances with remarkable acrobatic abilities. 

As the choreographer and lead dancer of the two-time Hip Hop International World Champion crew, Plague, Brooke has showcased his leadership and creative vision on global stages. He is also a key member of esteemed dance groups such as Funkstylerz and Fiya House, contributing significantly to their artistic direction and success. 

Brooke's extensive performance repertoire includes appearances in stage shows, films, and commercials, notably featuring in "StreetDance 3D" (2009) and the Old Jamaica campaign (2021).  His choreographic excellence was highlighted when he crafted the winning Hip Hop piece for BBC Young Dancer in 2019. 

In 2022, Brooke was awarded a digital commission by Pavilion Dance South West to create "Swipe Right," an interactive screendance work exploring online validation through social media.  His commitment to innovation in dance was further recognized in 2024 when he was selected for The Place's Choreodrome artist development programme, focusing on his children's show, "What’s Your Power?", which uses dance to convey messages about embracing diversity. 

Dedicated to nurturing the next generation of dancers, Brooke co-founded the renowned Popping collective Fiya House in 2012, providing platforms for dancers to showcase their talents and promoting growth within the UK Hip Hop scene.
